Janson

Hanson Logistics, St. Joseph, Mich.- James A. Reits is promoted to executive v.p. and CFO and Andrew B. Janson is promoted to executive v.p. of business development. Both Reits and Janson were v.p.'s in their respective areas. Reits joined Hanson in 1995 as controller, and was promoted to CFO in 1997. Janson joined Hanson in 2004 to spearhead the company's new logistics service offering.

Reits

Mastertaste, Teterboro, N.J.-Lynn Brown is sr. account mgr. for its flavors division. Most recently, Brown served as account mgr. with Quest International.

The Solae Company, St. Louis, Mo.-Thomas Damiano will lead the organization's global food platform strategy, resigning his position as v.p. of commercial development at Degussa AG's food ingredient business. Damiano has 20 years of global food ingredient business-building experience.



Rheinheimer

Organic Valley, LaFarge, Wis.-Lowell Rheinheimer joins as a regional pool coordinator to educate interested farmers about participating in the organic dairy market. In the 1970s, he helped develop the Natural Organic Farming Association.

Frutarom, North Bergen, N.J.-Kobi Levy is now executive v.p. and mgr. of the global flavors division. Levy was gen. mgr. of dairy products producer, the Strauss Group.



Daly

Solvay Chemicals, Inc., Houston, Tex.-James Daly is named v.p. Peroxygens. He joined the company in 1990.

Norseland, Inc.-John J. Sullivan takes over as president and will become CEO in September 2006. He joined Norseland in 1980 as national sales mgr.



Spaulding

ESE, Inc., Marshfield, Wis.-Vernon Spaulding is named v.p. Strategic Business Development. He is helping the company gain entrance into various aspects of the food industry.
