Dairy Farmers of America, Kansas City, Mo., has bought out its partners at Keller's Creamery LP.
A producer of butter for foodservice, retail, and industrial use, Keller's was created in May 2000 as a joint venture between DFA and Frank Otis and Glenn Millar, the onetime management team of the French-owned dairy firm Sodiaal North America Corp.
Keller's offices, warehouse, and distribution center are in Harleysville, Pa., and its butter processing plant is in Winnsboro, Texas.
