Friendly’s Ice Cream, Wilbraham, Mass., teamed up with the Pop Tart brand earlier this year to introduce new ice cream sandwiches, available at Friendly’s restaurants.

The restaurant’s current flavor features the Friendly’s newest ice cream flavor, Candy Bar Ice Cream — a blend of nougat ice cream with chocolate-coated peanuts, milk chocolate chunks and swirls of fudge and caramel that’s “sandwiched” between two full-size Frosted Chocolate Fudge Pop Tarts and covered with Take 5 candy bar crumbles.

The ice cream sandwiches are handmade daily in the restaurant. The Candy Bar flavor is available until early June and sells for $2.99.

Earlier this year, these flavors of Pop Tart ice cream sandwiches were available — Forbidden Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich (featuring Forbidden Fudge ice cream sandwiched between two full-size Frosted Chocolate Pop Tarts with a chocolate sprinkles) and Strawberry Ice Cream Sandwich (made with Friendly’s strawberry ice cream, two full-size Frosted Strawberry Pop Tarts and rainbow sprinkles.)

Friendly’s has over 250 restaurants with locations in the following 14 states that are currently serving the Pop Tart Ice Cream Sandwiches: Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Vermont, Florida, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware and South Carolina.
