Chobani new products 2014Chobani, New Berlin, N.Y., announced its most significant portfolio expansion last week with six new product innovations set to hit stores, beginning in June.

The new yogurt products push Greek yogurt beyond breakfast and provide better-for-you options for more people throughout the day, according to the company.

The six new innovations are:

  • Chobani Greek Yogurt Oats — Greek yogurt mixed with fruit and whole grain steel-cut oats, it’s available in flavors like banana maple, apple cinnamon, and blueberry and cranberry. The product is protein-, grain- and fiber-packed — Chobani's take on oatmeal.  
     
  • Chobani Indulgent is the brand’s first dessert product. It’s made with full-fat Greek yogurt with all-natural ingredients and comes in eye-catching clear packaging. The flavors are — Raspberry Dark Chocolate Chunk, Mint Dark Chocolate Chunk and Banana Dark Chocolate Chunk.
     
  • New flavors of Chobani Kids,made with natural ingredients, no artificial growth hormones (rbst-free) low-fat plain Greek yogurt and real fruit. The new flavors include — grape, watermelon, vanilla chocolate dust. The suggested retail price is $3.29 per 8-count box and $5.59 per 16-count box.
     
  • Chobani Seasonal, a seasonal twist to the core line — new, seasonally-inspired flavors that tap into trends and emerging tastes. The limited flavors will refresh each season. The first new summer flavors are — watermelon and pink grapefruit. Look for other new flavors this fall. The suggested retail price is $1.29 per 5.3-ounce container.
     
  • New blended flavors of Chobani Simply 100 Greek yogurt: Key lime and pineapple coconut.
     
  • Chobani Kitchen — Made with4% whole milk, this product answers the call for full-fat dairy products. It’s designed for a multi-serve format for recipes or a single-serve occasion, like baking or on top of a baked potato, chili and fajitas. The suggested retail price is $4.99 for a 32-ounce container.
