Lynnfield, Mass.-based Hood launched two new flavor additions to the Hood Cottage Cheese family — cucumber and dill and garden vegetables.
The new flavors contain 13 grams of protein per ½ cup serving (26% of the recommended daily value). Both flavors are sold in 16-ounce containers for a suggested retail price of $2.49 to $2.99.
Cucumber and dill features cucumber, onion and dill, while the garden vegetables features carrot, bell pepper, onion, green onion and cucumber.
Hood Cottage Cheese is an excellent source of protein, a good source of calcium, and is a healthy and versatile food that can be enjoyed as a snack, a recipe ingredient, a topping or as a dip, said the company.
