Bel Brands team talks about winning Plant of the Year at the International Dairy Show on Nov. 5
They will discuss the steps they took to achieve FSSC 22000 certification at their plant in Little Chute, Wis.
http://www.dairyshow.com/Three executives from Bel Brands USA will talk about the company's cheese plant in Wisconsin during the International Dairy Show in Chicago. Dairy Foods named that facility the 2013 Plant of the Year.
Edward Blascak, Lance Chambers and Mark Riemer from Bel Brands USA, Inc. are scheduled to appear at the seminar to speak about best practices in dairy products manufacturing. Chambers is president of Bel Brands USA Inc., Chicago. Blascak is the director of operations and Riemer is procurement manager.
They will discuss the steps they took to achieve FSSC 22000 certification at their plant in Little Chute, Wis., where they produce cold-pack and gourmet cheese spreads, including WisPride, Kaukauna, Boursin and Merkts. Bel Brands USA is a division of Fromagerie Bel of France.
The session runs from 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5 in room S102D at McCormick Place.
