WASHINGTON-Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) has filed another lawsuit against dairy, this time relating to lactose intolerance.

In its latest legal action, the anti-meat anti-milk animal rights group is trying to get lactose-related warning labels placed on milk cartons. And it has now named supermarket retailers in the suit, as well as dairy processors.

Specifically, PCRM is spearheading and funding a class-action lawsuit on behalf of 10 city residents, mostly minorities, against nine dairy companies and retailers that serve the D.C. market.

This is the group's second lawsuit against dairy companies in the past three months, and the latest in a long string of regulatory actions using unsubstantiated claims attacking dairy products.
