Dairy brands warm up for Super Bowl Sunday in this week's FSIs

Dairy dips, party platters and snacks to serve at Super Bowl parties star in this week's free-standing inserts.

HP Hood's Heluva Good! sour cream dip touts the food's "Big flavor for a HeluvaGood! game." Readers can find recipes at www.heluvagood.com.

Kraft's Velveeta announces "And the fans go wild" for a dip made with the cheese and Con-Agra's Ro-tel tomatoes and green chiles. A recipe for Cheesy Spinach & Bacon Dip calls for Velveeta and Philadelphia cream cheese.

Tyson, Budweiser beer (Anheuser-Busch InBev) and ACI Food's Fleischmann's team up for a pizza recipe, that calls for one cup of Real California mozzarella and one cup of mild Cheddar cheeses. Celebration Foods' Carvel unit serves up football-shaped ice cream cakes made with Mars' Snickers candy.

Reckitt Benckiser's Frank's Red Hot sauce prints a Sweet Chili Cream Cheese Dip recipe that uses 8 ounces of cream cheese. A Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe uses a like amount of cream cheese and one-half cup blue cheese salad dressing.

Campbell Soup Co.'s Swanson canned chicken offers its own Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe that includes 8 ounces cream cheese, one-half cup blue cheese salad dressing and one-half cup crumbled blue cheese or mozzarella cheese.

Sargento states "Real cheese for a real crowd" and directs readers online (Sargento.com) for a Barbecue Bean and Cheese Chili recipe.

Reynolds Consumer Products' pan lining paper FSI includes a lasagna recipe calling for 15 ounces of ricotta cheese, one-quarter cup grated Parmesan cheese and 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese.

Land O'Frost promotes its wrap kits that include cheese, meet and tortillas.

In other activity, General Mills promotes its Yoplait yogurt sold in 32-ounce containers and its Greek yogurt.

President's Address --2020 Vision

They say hindsight is 20/20, but IDFA President and CEO Connie Tipton is turning that old adage on its head. She plans to look forward to the next five years with a focused vision on important changes ahead for the dairy industry. In her address Tipton will challenge industry leaders to be willing to shake things up. She will unveil plans to ramp up IDFA activities during the run up to 2020.
