Intertape Polymer Group Inc., a leading supplier of industrial and packaging products, has expanded its current adhesive transfer tapes product line. The wider offering includes products with narrower widths, longer rolls, three adhesive thicknesses and a new ATG tape dispenser.

IPG introduces three reverse wound adhesive transfer tapes comprised of a glass-stabilized solvent-based adhesive on a paper liner. ATG160 is a 1.6 mil product designed for light duty industrial, commercial, and consumer applications such as picture framing and crafting. ATG200 is a 2 mil product with good adhesion to paper, most plastic films, and metal foils. ATG500 is an aggressive tack 5 mil product that bonds well to many irregular surfaces and is ideal for heavy duty splicing applications and product assembly. All products are photo safe.

IPG’s ATG LR transfer tape dispenser is trigger-operated and has a rewind roller to collect the used liner. It has a natural rubber roller for smooth application and a gear driven mechanism for positive and reliable usage. It accepts 1-inch ID cores, tape widths from ¼-inch to ¾-inch, and tape lengths (depending on tape thickness) up to 60 yards for 1.6 mil and 2 mil, and 36 yards for 5 mil product.

“IPG's expansion of our ATG line of tapes gives customers more options in roll length and width as well as new adhesive thicknesses, all applied with a new easy to use tape dispenser. We've responded to what our customers have told us they want, which is quality, cost effectiveness, and a choice in product options to meet their needs,” said Dennis Schulmerich, IPG senior product manager, Industrial Products.
