Dairy processor Saputo gives its Frigo Cheeseheads brand a workout

Saputo Frigo Cheeseheads Curves promotionDairy-related free-standing insert activity was light this week. Dairy processor Saputo offers a trial membership at Curves, while General Mills promotes its Yoplait yogurt brands.

"Exercise your right to snack light" states the headline over the free-standing insert for Frigo Cheeseheads string cheeses from Saputo. The FSI offers two free two-week memberships at Curves, a chain of workout facilities for women. To redeem, shoppers present two UPCs and a coupon to participating Curves clubs.
The FSI makes the claim that the cheeses are a "good source of protein" and "high in calcium." A serving of "the perfect workout snack" is a low as 60 calories.

Elsewhere in this week's FSI activity, General Mills touts that there are "no artificial colors and flavors" in its Yoplait Trix yogurt. The FSI states "now you can love that they love it!" A second FSI states that Yoplait Original is available in more than 40 "delicious" flavors.

President's Address --2020 Vision

They say hindsight is 20/20, but IDFA President and CEO Connie Tipton is turning that old adage on its head. She plans to look forward to the next five years with a focused vision on important changes ahead for the dairy industry. In her address Tipton will challenge industry leaders to be willing to shake things up. She will unveil plans to ramp up IDFA activities during the run up to 2020.
