    Bravo Foods International Corp. — Jeffrey Pencer has joined the North Palm Beach, Fla.-based company to lead its newly formed Canadian division.
    Foremost Farms USA — Mike Pronschinske has been named vice president of member services and milk marketing for the Baraboo, Wis.-based cooperative.
    Kraft Foods Inc. — The Northfield, Ill.-based company has elected Dr. Richard Lerner to its board of directors.
    Organic Valley Family of Farms — George Konovalov has joined the LaFarge, Wis.-based cooperative as eastern division sales manager.
    Sargento Foods Inc. — Mike McEvoy has been promoted to trade promotion manager for the Plymouth, Wis.-based company.

    CPS Scherping — Tim Czmowski has been appointed cheese technologist for the Winsted, Minn.-based company.
    Eurotherm — Tim Davis has been appointed manager for the company’s Leesburg, Va.-based repair center.

    Main Street Ingredients — Chad Miller has been appointed chief financial officer of the La Crosse, Wis.-based company.
    Pecan Deluxe Candy Co. — Jeff French has joined the Dallas-based company as director of dairy sales for North America.

    100% Recycled Paperboard Alliance — Paul Schutes has joined the Washington-based trade group as executive director.
    National Ice Cream Retailers Association — The Elk Grove Village, Ill.-based association elected new officers and board members at its annual convention in November: Steve Carberry, Carberry’s Homemade, Merritt Island, Fla., president; Rich Johnson, Tasty Time Ice Cream, Folsom, Calif., president-elect; Mark Leichtman, MaggieMoo’s International, Columbia, Md., vice president; Jim Mitchell, Woodside Farm Creamery, Hockessin, Del., secretary/treasurer; and Rick Davis, Ashby’s Sterling Ice Cream, Shelby Township, Mich., immediate past president. Elected to the board of directors for three-year terms were Lynn Dudek, Ruth Ann’s, North Muskegon, Mich.; Vince Giordano, Sno Top Ltd., Manlius, N.Y.; George Lochhead, Lochhead Mfg., St. Louis, Mo.; Bob Turner, Dairy Corner, Urbana, Ohio; and Dick Warren, Four Seas Ice Cream, Centerville, Mass.
    OBITUARIES
    Bozell Worldwide — Jay Schulberg, 65, ad agency executive behind the famed “got milk?” campaign, died January 12 of pancreatic cancer in Doylestown, Pa. Schulberg was the chief executive creative officer at Bozell in 1994, when the firm was hired to create a campaign to attract more customers to milk.
    International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) — Kathleen Nelson, 34, IDFA senior director of public affairs, died January 22 of breast cancer. Nelson brought dedication and determination to the organization for more than six years.
    U.S. Department of Agriculture — Ed Garbe, 83, died January 16 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.  Garbe served as chief of the inspection and grading division from 1967 until he retired in 1978.
