    PROCESSORS
    Alto Dairy Cooperative — Brian Briner has joined the Waupun, Wis.-based cheese manufacturer as field service representative.
    J&J Snack Foods Corp. — Vincent Melchiorre has been appointed executive vice president of the Pennsauken, N.J.-based company, and president of Country Home Bakers Inc.  
    Quality Chekd Dairies Inc. — Luis Rodriguez Romo has joined the Naperville, Ill.-based company as manager of technical services for Latin America.
    Sargento Foods Inc. — Steve Foerstner has been named divisional sales manager for the Plymouth, Wis.-based company’s Midwest region, Ed Finnie has been named division sales manager for the Northeast and Eastern Great Lakes regions, Brad Deckard has been named divisional sales manager, Kathy Ott has been named customer service director, and Gary Visser has been named senior director of planning and supply.

    Information Resources Inc. (IRI) — Teresa Sebastian has been appointed senior vice president and general counsel for the Chicago-based market research firm.
    Silliker Inc. — Jim Ondyak has been named president of Silliker North America, Homewood, Ill.; David Evanson has been appointed corporate vice president of quality for Silliker Group Corp.; and Jean-Baptiste Gay has been appointed vice president of industrial performance for Silliker Group Corp.
    SPX Process Equipment — Scott Dillner has been appointed director of marketing for the Delavan, Wis.-based company’s Flow Technology segment, and Pat Dowling has been named EMEA sales director for the Flow Technology segment of SPX.

    Cognis Nutrition & Health — Wayne Howard has relocated from Cognis Australia to La Grange, Ill., to serve as market development manger for functional food and technology for the Cognis’ Nutrition & Health business unit in the United States.
    David Michael & Co. — Erica Byerly has joined the Philadelphia-based flavors company as consumer research specialist, Kelly DeFusco has joined as project leader for bakery cereal, Laura Ennis has joined as senior beverage innovation technologist, Michele Pittner has joined the company’s purchasing department, Marc Sierro has joined as Western region account manager, Marie Cummings has been promoted to manager of food applications and product development, Ken Dorsey has been promoted to senior vice president and director of manufacturing, Erica Reiner has been promoted to vice president of strategic business development, Shelly Semento has been promoted to vice president of human resources, and Christine Deirdarian has joined David Michael Europe in sales administration.
    Orafti Active Food Ingredients — Tim Van der Schraelen has been appointed marketing and communication manager for the Malvern, Pa.-based company.
    D.D. Williamson & Co. Inc. — Sandra Nelson has joined the Louisville, Ky.-based company as technical coordinator of D.D. Williamson (UK) Ltd., located in Manchester, England.
    ASSOCIATIONS
    International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) — Allen Sayler has been promoted to vice president of regulatory affairs and international standards for the Washington, D.C.-based organization.
