Kraft Foods Inc. — Betsy
Holden has resigned her positions as president
of global marketing and category development and member of the Northfield,
Ill.-based company’s board of directors. Paula
Sneed, former senior vice president of marketing
resources, has been appointed executive vice president of global marketing
resources and initiatives, and John Baxter, former senior vice president of global snacks, has been
appointed executive vice president of global category development.
Sargento Foods Inc. — Guy
Beardsmore has joined the Plymouth, Wis.-based
company as corporate chef and Marta Turley has joined as national accounts manager for the
company’s food service division. Dorene
Munoz has also joined Sargento as senior
research scientist, along with Phil Delpierre as director of research and development and Dr. Soma Gandikota as senior
research scientist.

McClean has been appointed president of the
Erlanger, Ky.-based company.
Dairy Conveyor Corp. — Two new field sales
engineers have been recruited for outside sales and engineering
responsibilities for the Brewster, N.Y.-based company. Karl Kehrberg, based in western
Minnesota, will cover the upper Midwest region for the company, and Bruce Macphearson, based in
Overland Park, Kan., is responsible for the South Central region.
Eurotherm — Dan Bender has been appointed product marketing manager for the
Leesburg, Va.-based company’s power control products.
Fortitech Inc. — Mark
Fanion has been appointed communications
manager for the Schenectady, N.Y.-based company’s global offices in
the United States, Europe, Asia Pacific, South America and Mexico.
Information Resources Inc. — Sunil Garga has been appointed
president of the Chicago-based company’s Analytic Insights Group.
Mettler-Toledo Hi-Speed Inc. — Robert Newman has been appointed
business manager of service and customer support for the Ithaca, N.Y.-based
company.

Wilson has been appointed president and
chief operating officer of the Goshen, Ind.-based company.
Total Quality Logistics Inc. — Kerry Byrne has joined the
Cincinnati-based company as executive vice president.

ASSOCIATIONS
Food Processing Machinery Association — The
Alexandria, Va.-based organization has announced that Royal Oyster, former branch chief of
equipment review for the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service, will
receive the Honorary Lifetime Member Award at the association’s
annual meeting in September.
OBITUARIES
Germantown Manufacturing Co. — Duane Poulterer, 84, former company
president, chief executive officer and chairman of the board, died May 25.
Poulterer had been a past chairman of International Association of Food
Industry Suppliers and chairman of the Production Conference of the
Pennsylvania Manufacturing Confectioners Association.
