    PROCESSORS
    Foremost Farms USA — Keith Gretenhart has been named director of sales and marketing of the Baraboo, Wis.-based processor’s ingredient division.
    PROCESSOR SUPPLIERS
    Axon Corp. — George Albrecht has been appointed vice president of sales for the Raleigh, N.C.-based heat-shrink labeling manufacturer. Albrecht has more than 25 years experience in the packaging industry and will lead the sales group.
    Century Inc. — Asmut Kahns has been appointed to the board of directors and Douglas Hollywood has been named Northeast regional manager for the Traverse City, Mich.-based manufacturer of extruder compounders.
    CSB-System International Inc. — John Chlopek joins the San Diego-based business software developer as manager of the new Midwest regional office in Chicago.
    DCI Inc. — The St. Cloud, Minn.-based manufacturer of tanks and components has named Darin Wallace technical sales manager.
    Procorp Inc. — Linda Englander Mills joins the Milwaukee-based wastewater treatment designer as director of sales and marketing. She has more than 12 years experience in the environmental waste management industry.
    Relco Unisystems Corp./Whey Systems Inc. — Ronald Wagner joins the Willmar, Minn.-based manufacturer of dairy processing equipment as sales engineer.
    R&D SUPPLIERS
    Chr. Hansen — The Milwaukee-based ingredients company announces a number of personnel changes. Promoted are Al Giannantonio, Karen Spartz and Todd Strahm to senior account managers; Tim Harried to product manager, cheese ingredients for dairy; Jim Funk to director of sales, sweeteners for food and beverage. Joining the company are Hurl Minnig as director of sales for food and beverage; Luc Monbourquette as territory manager for food and beverage, meat and prepared foods and human health and nutrition in Ontario, Canada; Teresa Supnet-Rosa as director of sales for meat and prepared foods; and Marcel Veilleux as territory manager for animal and nutrition in Quebec and eastern Canada.
    Denali Flavors — John Nardini has been named executive vice president of marketing for the Wayland, Mich.-based ice cream ingredients developer.
    ASSOCIATIONS
    Dairy Council of California — Dennis Brimhall of the Fairfield Dairy Division of Super Store Industries joins the board of directors of the Sacramento, Calif.-based organization.
    International Association of Food Industry Suppliers — The McLean, Va.-based foundation of the association has named a new chairman, treasurer and three directors, and reappointed one director. John Fearn, director of sales at Walker Stainless Equipment Co., New Lisbon, Wis., has been named chairman. Bob Sprinkman, president of W.M. Sprinkman Corp., Franksville, Wis., has been named treasurer. New directors are Larry Korf, president of DCI Inc., St. Cloud, Minn.; John Miller, president of Seiberling Associates Inc., Dublin, Ohio; and Kirk Spitzer, president of Alfa Laval Inc., Richmond, Va. Jack Luechtefeld, president of St. Louis-based DSI Process Systems was reappointed to the board. All will serve three-year terms. Virginia “Jean” Moran, chief executive officer and chairman of the board at Label Makers Inc., Pleasant Prairie, Wis., recently presided over her first conference as chairwoman of the IAFIS board of directors. Moran, the first woman to chair the IAFIS board, will serve a two-year term. Along with Moran, the board chose Viggo Nielsen, president of Safeline Inc., Tampa, Fla., as chairman-elect; and Ivan Larsh, chief operating officer of Wedeco, Charlotte, N.C., as treasurer. Each will serve a two-year term. The board also named two industry segment director seats and four at-large seats to three-year terms. Lou Beaudette, president of Admix Inc., Manchester, N.H., was re-elected processing segment director; and David Bryant, president of The David Bryant Co., Roswell, Ga., was re-elected support services segment director. Elected as at-large directors were Gunther Brinkman, vice president of marketing, Norse Dairy Systems, Columbus, Ohio; Bill Wilson, vice president of marketing and sales at Anderson Instrument Co. Inc., Fultonville, N.Y.; Tom Riggins, vice president of marketing and sales at Packaging Technologies-Holmatic, Davenport, Iowa; and John Rooney, general manager, Evergreen Packaging Equipment/International Paper, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
