A-B-C is introducing a case packer that utilizes dynamic servo operation to ensure top precision and accuracy at speeds to 30 cases per minute. The case packer utilizes servo motors to control the main case drive, infeed, down stacker, and load pusher, ensuring precise case and product movement and gentle handling throughout the machine. PLC operation provides integral synchronization of all moving parts.

Cheese processors and others requiring automated vacuum pouch sealing can take advantage of Multivac’s new B400 belted chamber system. Sidel’s new Rollquattro Evolution labeler offers 30% faster changeover times and 20% more accuracy at high speeds, the company claims. It features a fully redesigned linear labeling station. Alfa Rollquattro roll-fed labelers apply wrap-around labels in paper or plastic at speeds up to 72,000 containers/hour onto glass, plastic or metal containers with superior quality while helping to lower production costs.

Polypack Inc. developed the Clear-Print wrapper series. It is composed of a patent-pending integrated film perforation system, which perforates the film before multipacking products. Consequently, the machines run film of 1mil thick and require minimum maintenance. Capable of using clear or printed film, these shrink wrappers are compact, and the changeovers are made quickly and easily.

EPI has introduced an automatic system for labeling pre-made bags before filling the bags. The bags are stacked and fed through the feeder, labeled and restacked ready for use. Delkor’s top load case packers incorporate a two-servo design of the standard Delkor Spot-Pak loader. This loader is suited for loading RSC cases, HSC trays, display trays, four-sided trays or dairy cases. The modular design allows for the erecting of the corrugate blank via tape or glue, laning of the product, loading of the product, and closing of the case with tape or glue.

The Model 1127 Lid Unscrambler from Tindall Packaging is an efficient, economically priced unit that will run more than 100 lids per minute. A photo sensor in the chute turns the unit off the unit when there are sufficient lids in the chute to feed the filler.
