Axon, a division of Pro Mach, has created the EZ-Seal 200SL and the EZ-Seal 400SL. These heat shrinkable sleeve labeling systems are capable of processing tamper-evident bands and full-body sleeves on the same system at rates that exceed 200 and 400 units per minute, respectively. Key features of the EZ-Seal 200SL and EZ-Seal 400SL include the flexibility to process both tamper evident bands and sleeve labels, Allen-Bradley controls, corrosion resistant construction, and stepper/servo film feeding and cutting systems.

The unbreakable, 100% recyclable bottles feature resealable, tamper-evident closures. They allow consumers to see the product inside and offer more on-shelf appeal through attractive labels and improved graphics. The 8oz bottles are designed to stack 50 to a crate. When the bottles are stacked, the closure and base interlock to improve stability and prevent bottle damage.

Standard-Knapp introduces the Continuum Integrated Tray/Shrink System. The new tray/shrink system provides efficiency, flexibility, quick changeover and a low-maintenance design. Ampac Flexibles, a unit of Ampac Packaging LLC, introduces a new clear high-moisture barrier lidstock that can seal to trays, cups, etc., made from a wide variety of plastic materials. Flexi-Free 6985 is a high-moisture barrier lidstock without a foil layer that is suitable for universal application. Plastic tray/cup types include: high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP), amorphous polyethylene terephthalate (APET), polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG), polystyrene (PS), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polycarbonate (PC) and Barex. The two-ply, 2.5 mil lamination is made from polyvinylidene choride (PVDC)-coated polyester and a peelable sealant layer.
