Japan’s Ohayo Dairy Products has partnered with the women’s lifestyle magazine Hanako to create a ready-to-drink smoothie designed for women’s nutritional needs and flavor preferences. Starting with a base of milk, the smoothie includes three fruits - aloe, kiwi and white peaches - and two fruit juices - apple and grape. In addition to fruit fiber, the smoothie is enhanced with polydextrose, in order that each 180 milliliter serving delivers 2.1 grams fiber, which is said to help women feel full and prevent overeating between meals.
