International Dairy Show to Feature New Interactive Format

The International Dairy Show will feature the iDairyShow, which includes both online and on-floor opportunities to connect with show participants, exchange information, chat about challenges and share stories. The International Dairy Show, presented by the International Dairy Foods Association, will take place Sept. 13-15 at the Dallas Convention Center.

"iDairyShow will provide attendees and exhibitors with a fresh take on the trade show experience that is modern and engaging," said Robin Cornelison, tradeshow manager for IDFA, Washington, D.C.. "By providing several ways to network and stay on top of what's happening at the show, we are confident that attendees will leave the show having accomplished their goals."

On the show floor, the iDairyShow, Booth 2345, will feature more than 25 presentations from leading industry experts on food security, sustainable practices, consumer research, marketing and more. iDairyShow will be open 11:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

iDairyShow online, www.dairyshow.com/idairyshow, allows show participants to link to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media sites. These postings will be streamed live throughout the exhibit hall to help attendees and exhibitors stay connected and up to date on all show events.
IDFA will use iDairyShow online to disseminate information to attendees before, during and after the three-day event and to encourage an ongoing dialogue between suppliers and processors throughout the year.

Another new feature, the International Dairy Show's ChirpE page, is a free mobile application from a2z, Inc., a Columbia, Md.-based event management and show software manufacturer, where attendees can get the latest buzz, search for products and exhibitors and view the interactive floor plan. The ChirpE application is compatible with any major smartphone and offers integration with many social media applications.

The International Dairy Show features the newest innovations in technology, packaging, ingredients and services for the dairy foods industry. Educational sessions offer solutions that span the entire manufacturing process, and attendees will have the opportunity to visit exhibits displaying everything dairy companies need to run more efficiently, create new products and improve profitability. Registration is open at http://www.dairyshow.com/dairy/register-now.html.
