Fogg Introduces High Torque Magnetic Capping Heads

Fogg Filler, a market leader in the design and manufacture of rotary filling systems for the liquids industry, has designed a new capping head capable of handling many different closures.

Fogg Filler, a market leader in the design and manufacture of rotary filling systems for the liquids industry, has designed a new capping head capable of handling many different closures.

New, for 2009, Fogg is proud to introduce their Model 45 high torque magnetic capping heads.  Previously, Fogg’s capping heads were capable of 2-20 in-lbs. or 2-26 in-lbs. of torque.  The new Model 45 high torque magnetic capping heads will apply 3-45 in-lbs. of torque when needed.  With a higher level of torque you will be capable of capping more closures than ever before.

Fogg’s unique capping heads are made of stainless steel and the numeric torque level is externally engraved for easy adjustments.  With the new tooless design; a simple twist of the capping head can adjust the torque for changeover.  They are calibrated within +/- 1 in-lb.  These capping heads can be coupled with Fogg’s new Quick Change capping chucks which makes chuck changeover tooless and faster than ever before.

The Fogg Model 45 high torque magnetic capping heads have very low operating costs and are capable of being retrofitted to nearly any Fogg application!  Please consult a Fogg sales representative to discuss your particular application or for our full line of filling machines and accessories please contact our sales team at 616-786-FOGG or www.foggfiller.com
