After launching limited edition Dan'up Xperiment yogurt drink in Mexico in March 2005, Danone is rolling it out into Spain. This product does not reveal on the pack what is the flavor, and consumers need to go on the company's website to guess the flavor and win prizes. Xperiment simply contains "aroma" on the ingredient list.

In Germany, retailer Plus launched Rela GourmetButter in a range of interesting flavors, such as Cranberry and Honey, Mild Mustard Seed, Tomato and Parsley, and Black Olives. The variety of savory and sweet flavors also makes this range ideal to complement a large number of dishes, from the main course to dessert.

Normally coffee-flavored yogurts contain coffee extracts, concentrates or syrups. In Germany, Schwälbchen Molkerei Jakob Berz has taken a different approach with its Schwälbchen Caffreddo Yogurt Espresso. It is made with real espresso from Arabica beans and a shot of fresh cream, appealing to coffee fans and for those looking for something a little bit more indulgent. The product is packaged in a plastic tub with a plastic spoon on top, making it a convenient snack to have on-the-go.
