The Benjamin P. Forbes Co.
, supplier of cocoa and flavor ingredients, will relocate its headquarters, plant and main warehouse from Cleveland to Broadview Heights, Ohio. The new Forbes Chocolate facilities will triple in size.
Wixon Inc., a St. Francis, Wis.-based food ingredients company, has received organic certification as a processor from Quality Assurance International, the largest independent certifying organization of its kind in the United States.
Citroil Enterprises Inc., a supplier of flavors, citrus oils and juices, announced the opening of its new, state-of-the-art flavor laboratory at Carlstadt, N.J.
Glanbia Nutritionals, Monroe, Wis., has launched its new corporate Web site at www.glanbianutritionals.com. The site was designed so users can be directed to one of Glanbia’s many brand lines through market, application or product searches depending on their needs. The Web site also features “Ask an R&D Expert,” a unique interactive question-and-answer forum that allows users to pose technical questions to Glanbia’s R&D experts.
Netherlands-based DSM Dairy Ingredients has launched a new worldwide marketing communications campaign. Driven by customer needs and market trends, DSM Dairy Ingredients has re-positioned and re-branded its entire product portfolio in order to clearly differentiate each product’s contribution to their customers’ businesses.
American Casein Co. commemorates 50 years of business in the ingredients industry. The Burlington, N.J.-based company continues to be family owned and operated. It is also the headquarters for its spray-drying division, American Custom Drying Co.
D.D. Williamson, a caramel manufacturer based in Louisville, Ky., received the first Kosher Compliance Award from the Louisville Vaad Hakashruth for its commitment and adherence to kosher guidelines and standards.
