Fristam Pumps, Middleton, Wis.- Nestor Jaimes appointed as assistant applications engineer. His responsibilities include providing Fristam's Spanish- speaking customers with sales support and service, including pump sizing and applications. Larry Cook is promoted to sales mgr. of American operations. He has been with Fristam for nearly five years as southeastern regional sales mgr. Steven Faith joins as industrial business development mgr.

Mastertaste, Teterboro, N.J.- Paul Hood becomes general mgr. of its Zesty Smoke team in Crossville, Tenne. Hood joined Mastertaste through its acquisition of Hickory Specialties and its Zesty Smoke brand in 2001. Most recently, Hood served as general mgr. of Mastertaste's west coast facility. Hood will oversee all aspects of Zesty Smoke's operation, including sales, finance, R&D, customer service, and production in its main plant in Crossville, as well as additional sites in Greenville and Summer Shade.

Chr. Hansen, Milwaukee, Wis.- Jens Bigum is elected new chairman. Bigum already serves on several boards, including Carlsberg Breweries A/S, Arla Foods International A/S, and Toms A/S.

Dairy Management Inc., Rosemont, Ill.-Tom Suber, Rick Naczi and Greg Miller, PhD, MACN, are expanding their roles with the company. Suber will retain his role as president of the United States Dairy Export Council (USDEC) and has accepted the position of executive v.p. of international marketing. Suber has 25 years of experience in international trade including 15 years with the dairy industry. Miller has been promoted to executive v.p. of innovation. In addition, he assumes management of intellectual property matters and will continue to oversee DMI/National Dairy Council's® product and nutrition research programs. Miller joined DMI in 1992. Naczi is executive v.p. of U.S. sales & marketing. In addition, Naczi will retain his title as CEO for the American Dairy Association and Dairy Council, Inc.

Oden Corp., Tonawanda, N.Y.-Dean Faso succeeds Bryan Ferry as inhouse sales mgr.; Ferry takes on position of manufacturing mgr. Richard Janas joins the sales staff as contact management specialist. Jeffrey Mook appointed field service technician, succeeding Kevin Taylor, who joined the engineering staff.

Alfa Laval Inc., Richmond, Va.-Alessandro Terenghi was appointed president. He joined the company in 1982 as a sales engineer. Prior to joining Alfa Laval, Terenghi worked in sales and product management capacities at Delchi/Westinghouse and Olivetti & Co in Italy.

Fruatrom, North Bergen, N.J.- James Zhu joins as R&D Food/Flavor Technologist. Zhu has spent the last 21 years at Symrise and is a member of the Institute of Food Technology (IFT).

Bravo! Foods, North Palm Beach, Fla.-Stan Harris joins as the company's first chief marketing officer. Harris' firm, Harris Ideas, served as the agency of record for Bravo! since November 2003. Joe Librizzi joins as director of procurement and supply management. He most recently was with Slim Fast Foods. And Mike Comerford is now director of operations. For the past five years, he owned and operated M.J. Comerford Associates, a food broker.

WILD Flavors, Inc., Erlanger, Ky.-Kevin Gavin is chief operating officer. He has been with WILD Flavors, Inc. for more than four years as the v.p. of administration, general counsel and corporate secretary.
