Evergreen Packaging Equipment introduces the new Q-70 gable top packaging machine to serve the small to mid-size volume market. With fill volumes of 6 to 32 oz (180ml to 1.15L), the Q-70 fills quarts/liters up to 7,000 cph (117 cpm) and fractionals up to 9,000 cph (150 cpm) to meet market demand for a mid-speed quart/liter cross-section machine.
The machine’s servo driven main drive, infeed loader, mandrels, lift, fill and conveyor chain sections automatically control fill volumes and profiles based on product and carton size providing flexibility to the beverage processor. A single station bottom-up fill system features a double diaphragm metering bowl for accurate, consistent fill volumes.
Beverage processors will experience less down time with the Q-70’s robust design and infinite fill capabilities. Optional SPOUT-PAK® System and four levels of carton sanitization are also available.
