ExxonMobil Showcases Food Processing Lubricants at Pack Expo

ExxonMobil Lubricants & Petroleum Specialties Company, a division of Exxon Mobil Corporation, showcased its portfolio of NSF H1 registered lubricants at this year’s Pack Expo Las Vegas.
ExxonMobil highlighted the performance benefits of its H1 lubricants portfolio, which includes Mobil SHC Cibus, Mobil DTE FM, Mobil SHC Polyrex, and Mobilgrease FM.
Manufactured in facilities that are registered to the industrial hygiene requirements of ISO 21469:2006, these Mobil-branded lubricants are expertly formulated with premium-performance base stocks and additives that meet the NSF International’s H1 lubricant formulation requirements for products used in food and beverage processing applications in which incidental food contact might occur.
“Across the globe, ExxonMobil’s family of H1 lubricants helps food and beverage processors boost productivity, reduce equipment downtime and minimize maintenance costs, while enhancing food safety initiatives,” said Dan Kellen, industrial marketing manager, Americas, ExxonMobil Lubricants and Petroleum Specialties Company. “We are proud to have participated in this year’s Pack Expo Las Vegas show, as it offered us the opportunity to provide attendees a chance to see first-hand how our products and application expertise can play a key role in helping them achieve their productivity and safety goals.”
The H1 portfolio of productivity-enhancing Mobil Industrial Lubricants includes:
Mobil SHC Cibus Series: a family of first-rate synthetic lubricants that deliver excellent wear protection and long-term oxidation stability for equipment that is commonly used in the food and beverage processing and packaging, animal feed manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals sectors. Suitable for Kosher and Halal applications, Mobil SHC Cibus Series lubricants also comply with Title 21 CFR 178.3570 of the Food and Drug Administration for lubricants with incidental food contact;
Mobil DTE FM Series: a suite of premium-performance lubricants that are ideal for a wide range of food processing and packaging applications, including use in gears, bearings and hydraulics. These lubricants provide exceptional wear protection, oxidation stability, and rust prevention to help ensure optimal system cleanliness. Mobil DTE FM Series lubricants also comply with Title 21 CFR 178.3570;
Mobil SHC Polyrex Series: top-quality synthetic greases that offer extreme temperature performance by resisting oxidation and loss of structural stability in temperatures up to 338°F (170°C). These expertly formulated greases are also suitable for Kosher and Parve applications; and,Mobilgrease FM Series: a family of shear-stable greases that provide long-term corrosion protection for critical food processing equipment. In addition to being suitable for Kosher, Parve and Halal applications, Mobilgrease FM Series greases offer a high degree of resistance to water washout, even during frequent, highly pressurized cleanings.
Along with its broad portfolio of H1 lubricants, ExxonMobil offers a wide range of lubricants and services for food and beverage processors.
