Pete Garbani, director of Western Region Milk Supply for Land O’Lakes; Laura Burns, plant manager at Kraft Foods; and Kimberly Clauss, operations manager of Clauss Dairy Farms and co-owner of Hilmar Cheese have joined the board of directors of the Dairy Council of California.

Pete Garbani, director of Western Region Milk Supply for Land O’Lakes; Laura Burns, plant manager at Kraft Foods; and Kimberly Clauss, operations manager of Clauss Dairy Farms and co-owner of Hilmar Cheese have joined the board of directors of the Dairy Council of California.

At DSM Food Specialties, Jan Boeg Hansen has been appointed Sales Director Cultures; Peter Wagner has been appointed Production Director Cultures; and Hans Holm has been appointed Innovation Manager.

Gary Kerrigan has joined Thiel Cheese & Ingredients, Hilbert, Wis. Hapman named Bill Payne of BHE Inc. its representative of the year for the second consecutive year.

Paolo Barilla, president of the Association of the Italian Pastry and Pasta Industries, has been named to lead the upcoming edition of IPACK-IMA, which will be held at Fiera Milano from Feb. 28 to March 3, 2012.
