Operators can apply high-quality hermetic seals to any shape or size tray using Ishida’s compact QX-series tray sealers by Heat and Control. Models are available for medium-speed manual loading and fully automated sealing of up to 200 trays per minute. Ishida tray sealers can be custom-designed for gas flushing, vacuum-gassing or seal-only operation, and tooling can be exchanged in minutes. Additionally, Ishida’s Intelligent Tool function automatically recognizes the correct tooling for each product preset to further speed changeovers, while redundant cutting and heating tools are assured maximum production time. To simplify sanitation, the tray sealer is self-draining and has no inaccessible surfaces.
