The Dannon Co., White Plains, N.Y., extends the Activia brand to a new line of yogurt under the sub-brand of Selects. The range includes Activia Selects Greek, a thick and creamy blended nonfat Greek yogurt containing 12 grams of protein per 6-ounce cup, which is about double the protein content of traditional yogurt. Like the mainstream Activia line, the Selects recipes include the company’s unique probiotic culture Bifidus Regularis (Bifidobacterium lactis DN 173 010), which has been clinically shown to help naturally regulate the digestive system when consumed daily for two weeks as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Activia Selects Greek comes in four flavors: blueberry, pomegranate & berries, strawberry and vanilla.
