Newsline: New Hampshire Students Bring Home Gold

Durham, N.H.—A team of students from the University of New Hampshire won a gold award recently at the sixth annual North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge.

 Peter Erickson, associate professor of dairy science at UNH, coached the students. Maggie Powers, a senior dairy management major, and Meghan Tremarche, a junior dairy management major, both from Massachusetts, Meghan McGarr, a senior dairy management major from New York; and Holli Pinard, a senior animal science/pre-veterinary major from New Hampshire, made up the winning team.

The competition took place in March in Sioux Falls, S.D., and was co-hosted by Iowa State University and South Dakota State University
