H.P. Hood is replacing its premium ice cream line with a new flavor lineup that draws on the company’s New England roots. The New England Creamery line rolls out with 18 new flavors including Martha’s Vineyard Black Raspberry, Cape Cod Fudge Shop, and North End Spumoni.

As part of a $1 million-plus cross-promotional campaign, Hood is teaming up with the state tourism officials in several New England states to promote the new flavors in a “Taste of New England Tour.” Hood will offer free tastings at events throughout the region this summer and is promoting state tourism services in ads.

Hood is also launching a sweepstakes next month letting consumers pick a name for a 19th flavor.
