Sandwich chain Subway redefined the spokesperson with Jared, the real life everyman who lost weight by eating Subway’s food. Well, meet Robin, the dairy industry’s Jared.

Robin Seaber, a mother of two, had struggled with her weight for years, despite trying a number of fad diets. About a year ago she realized one of the keys to healthy weight loss may have been sitting in her refrigerator all along—fat free milk.

Inspired by the Great American Weight Loss Challenge, Seaber took a realistic approach to her weight loss for the first time – reducing her calories, consistently exercising and drinking 24 oz of fat free milk every 24 hours. The results? She lost more than 40 lbs over the course of 12 months. Her success is now touted nationally as Seaber has become the first non-celebrity featured in a Milk Mustache ad running in national magazines.

“For me, it was no longer about going on or off a diet. It was about making smart choices every day that support a healthy lifestyle,” said Seaber. “Things like eating breakfast, moving more and eating less, and being creative about working in milk were all easy steps that ultimately helped me reach my goal.”
