Mountainside Farms UltraPure™ milk represents an exciting new category in the fluid milk segment that bridges the gap between conventional milk and organic milk. Combining environmentally friendly business practices with the use of innovative UltraPure technology in the processing stage, Mountainside Farms, Jamaica, N.Y., an affiliate of Elmhurst Dairy Inc., is able to produce purer, better-tasting milk that is free of hormones and antibiotics, with improved shelflife, according to the company. The milk comes in whole, 2% reduced fat, 1% lowfat and fat free and has a suggested retail price of $2.49 per half gallon.

The Tillamook County Creamery Assn., Tillamook, Ore., has added low-moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese to its product offerings. “Mozzarella is a nice addition to our cheese line because it is often a staple in households,” says Kathy Holstad, marketing director.
