    New Products/Services:

    Tate & Lyle's food ingredient portfolio was broadened in 2004 to include SPLENDA® Sucralose, the no-calorie sweetener made from sugar, so it tastes like sugar. Tate & Lyle has also added MATRIX™ food adhesive, NUCOL™ granular instant starch for use in sugar-free puddings and STA-CAP™ modified food starch for emulsion stabilization. CONTOUR™ Xanthan Gum will soon be added to Tate & Lyle's line of ingredients.

    Tate & Lyle is a supplier of value-added food ingredients including nutritive sweeteners, SPLENDA® Sucralose, performance starches, hydrolyzed vegetable proteins, vital wheat gluten and acidulants. Sweetener ingredients include KRYSTAR® crystalline fructose, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, dextrose, maltodextrin, corn syrup solids, and STA-LITE® Polydextrose, a premium low calorie bulking agent. Tate & Lyle food starches are derived from dent and waxy corn, potato and tapioca. They include traditional high performance cook-up starches as well as the most diverse offering of instant starches available.

    Proven functionality

    Tate & Lyle offers processors a wide variety of highly functional ingredients formulated specifically for use in dairy products. Product applications range from nonfat no-gelatin yogurt and no-fat sour cream to cheeses and cheese sauces to milk-based beverages and frozen dairy desserts.
