Polypack has a new solution that addresses the issue of washdowns in production lines. The new Atlantis shrink wrapper protects the critical components from liquid intrusion. Water is extremely detrimental to the shrink properties of the film, and the feature set found on the new Atlantis machine allows for washdown while protecting the critical components: a waterproof front end, encased in stainless steel to protect against liquids; a pusher assembly inside a stainless-steel housing; sealed electronics; and stainless-steel construction, which offers superior lifespan and washdown capabilities.
