New economical metal detector for conveyed products

Mettler-Toledo Safeline announces the Compact metal detector, delivering Mettler-Toledo Safeline performance and reliability at an economical price.

Mettler-Toledo Safeline announces the Compact metal detector, delivering Mettler-Toledo Safeline performance and reliability at an economical price. Delivering high performance sensitivity, it detects and reliably rejects ferrous, non-ferrous, and the normally difficult to detect stainless-steel metal contaminants.

The new Compact is offered in three one-frequency and three two-frequency combinations allowing adaptability for current and future products. This eliminates the need to purchase a new metal detector in the future as products and specifications change for a cost savings. Standard aperture sizes and frequencies allow shorter acquisition lead times. Both light washdown (stainless steel) and non-washdown (gray-painted) versions are available.

The metal detector and power supply are combined in one piece to save space and allow quick and easy installation to one power source. Like all other Mettler-Toledo Safeline equipment, the intuitive operator interface provides rapid, easy set up routines and adjustment for maximized manufacturing uptime ensuring high productivity.
