Lock Inspection Systems, Fitchburg, Mass., will be showcasing its new Insight range of metal detectors for the food industry at Pack Expo in Chicago. The Insight range is offered with advanced plug-and-play architecture featuring an array of new communications options (USB, SCADA, wireless and standard Ethernet) designed to meet the requirements of systems integrator and end user. All of the company’s detectors will be delivered with a redesigned user-friendly HMI. The standard membrane keypad incorporates DDS (Direct Digital Signal) viewer, a feature of Lock’s new performance-enhancing metal detector management software. An integrated digital search head and sophisticated OPTIX detector management software enable Insight to create stable and sensitive product set-ups for the most demanding of applications.
