The Dannon Co., White Plains, N.Y., has repositioned and redesigned the packaging for its Dannon Light & Fit Carb & Sugar Control Cultured Dairy Snack, promoting the fact that it is diabetic friendly with 85% less sugar than regular low-fat yogurt. The kosher-certified product with zero added sugar comes in two varieties: Strawberries & Cream and Vanilla Cream. Sold in four-packs of 4-ounce cups, a serving contains only 2 grams of sugar, but still has a sweet profile as a result of a combination of aspartame, acesulfame potassium and sucralose.
