InterBev 2004

Milk among the beverages sharing spotlight at show.
InterBev, the biennial trade show dedicated to beverages, will be held September 26 to 28 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
Show organizers say the convention will offer something for everyone in the beverage business — producers, distributors and retailers of soft drinks, beer, bottled water, juice, ready-to-drink tea, milk, sports drinks, wine, distilled spirits and powdered drinks. Packaging and process engineers, production managers, marketing, warehousing, distribution managers and R&D personnel also will find new products and technology exhibited at the show.
With the theme of “Dedicated Exclusively to Beverages (How Refreshing),” InterBev’s organizers stress the inclusive nature of the show that encompasses all beverage categories. More than 500 exhibitors will showcase new beverage-related products, equipment and technology, and other marketing and distribution developments, and offer experts on those products.
“On InterBev’s exhibit floor, at networking receptions and course sessions, the industry’s leaders will have the opportunity to meet and convene at one place at one time.” says Eileen Baird, vice president and show manager for InterBev. “Our suppliers and buyers will have the chance to learn more about new products amongst peers and share fresh new ideas.
Exhibits will include production and processing equipment, beverages, ingredients, packaging equipment, dispensing and vending equipment, containers and packaging materials, plant and maintenance equipment, conveying and materials-handling equipment, trucks and transportation, merchandising, quality assurance and computer hardware and software.
“We’re pleased that InterBev continues to act as the premier forum for the latest educational and business insights for the worldwide beverage industry,” says Baird. “InterBev’s various sessions complement the breadth and scope of product discoveries attendees will find on the show floor.”  df
