GEA Tuchenhagen developed the first 24/7 PMO Tank Valve, which allows seat lift cleaning while the product is present in the opposite valve housing.
The PMO Tank Valve is the first valve of its type to hold FDA memorandum, is completely drainable in horizontal and upside-down positions, thus saving floor space and can be close-coupled to vessel or vat, simplifying vessel pipework. Additionally, it delivers lower pressure drop compared to standard PMO valves, making it ideal for large particles and viscous products. And it reduces product pushout losses, which in turn, increases return on investment.
