A newly engineered case packer with auto-changeover from BluePrint Automation uses a three and four-axis Delta robot to case pack snack bags and other flexible packages. The new design simplifies the system mechanically, provides plants with a much smaller footprint; measures 4 feet wide by 8 feet tall high and includes a virtually hands-free changeover between different product and case sizes. The benefits include: elimination of the “fine-tuning” that typically takes place after a changeover; a small footprint to accommodate tight bagger centerlines and standard bag seal checking with optional integrated reusable case erector.
