American Dairy Visits U.S.

American Dairy, Inc., one of the leading producers and distributors of milk powder and soybean products in China, will attend the Eighth Annual ICR XChange Investor Conference in Naples, Fla., this month. The company’s CEO, and CFO, will present to investors.


Tough Year for CoolBrands

CoolBrands International says sales and earnings were down significantly in fiscal year 2005 which ended Aug. 31. The decline was attributed to the loss of key brands and the company vowed to continue to grow through brand building and acquisition.


Ciao, Biff

Yale University Properties, which encourages economic development in downtown New Haven Conn., recently celebrated the opening of Ciao Bella Gelato Co. store at one of its properties.


More Goats!

The UK is experiencing a goat farming boom ignited by public demand for goat dairy products such as cheese, milk, butter and yogurt. Britain's biggest retailer says demand for all goat products has risen dramatically. Sales of butter are up by 31%, milk by 28%, yogurt by 23%, cheese by 16%.


Safeway’s Lifestyle

Grocery giant Safeway said last month that it expects higher sales and profits this year, thanks in part to the continued over-performance of its upscale Lifestyle concept stores.
