Ice cream never tasted so hot, thanks to the folks at Blue Bell Creameries LLC. Like so many coffee houses, this Brenham, Texas, creamery has taken a popular hot drink and made it into a cold treat: Hot Chocolate Ice Cream. This new offering combines creamy milk chocolate ice cream loaded with miniature marshmallows, dark chocolate shavings and a rich marshmallow sauce swirl.

“The ice cream tastes just as delicious as a cup of hot chocolate,” says Paul Kruse, Blue Bell CEO and president. “Of course we couldn’t capture the hot aspect, but we definitely have the rich chocolate flavor down perfectly.”



Premium refrigerated dairy dip and dressing manufacturer T. Marzetti Co., Columbus, Ohio, uses lots of blue cheese in its new buttermilk-based dressing: Buffalo Blue Cheese. The dressing provides “buffalo” zip to ordinary chicken nuggets, as well as any other item that is dipped into it.
