Wells’ Dairy Inc., Le Mars, Iowa, introduces several new frozen treats to help weight-conscious ice cream lovers stay on track in 2006. For example, there’s Sweet Freedom® Turtle. This bar is heaven for turtle sundae enthusiasts. The ice cream is infused with thick caramel sauce and covered with chocolate coating and pecan pieces. There’s also the line of Personals™ Light. These new, 8-oz personal servings are made with premium light ice cream to satisfy individual cravings. Personals Light come in five flavors, including Personals Bunny Tracks® Light. This light vanilla ice cream is loaded with chocolate-covered, peanut butter-filled chocolate bunnies, a thick chocolate fudge ribbon and a peanut butter caramel ribbon.


The cheese experts at Sargento Foods Inc., Plymouth, Wis., have carefully blended some of the finest Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses with just the right amount of spices to create a bold, new Bistro™ Blends variety—Cheddar and Monterey Jack Shredded Cheese with Tomatoes and Jalapeño Peppers.

Sargento also offers two additional mouth-watering Bistro Blends varieties—Mozzarella & Asiago with Roasted Garlic and Mozzarella with Sun-Dried Tomatoes & Basil.
