Agropur's Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Agropur's U.S. subsidiary, Schroeder Milk, has acquired Farmland Dairies' Grand Rapids, Mich., facility.

"This most recent acquisition is a leading manufacturer and marketer of on-trend UHT [ultra high temperature] and aseptic dairy products. It represents a great fit with our current operations and will allow us to keep building a strong foundation for continued growth," reported Agropur's CEO, Pierre Claprood.

The Grand Rapids facility will be part of Schroeder Milk's operations and will be overseen by Schroeder Milk's president, Bob Kirchoff, who reports to the vice president, business development for Agropur Division Natrel, Ken Hume.
