Step one is to shake loose the frozen fruit and yogurt inside the container. Then consumers add juice and "shake it to make it!" Whitewave Foods (a unit of Dean Foods) introduces its Silk Fruit & Protein nondairy beverage made with soy. It is available in mixed berry, mango peach and strawberry banana flavors. The FSI calls the drinks a "good source of protein" and directs readers to a Facebook page

  • Sargento urges consumers to try its new double Cheddar cheese in its Natural Blends line.
  • B&G Foods features celebrity chef Sandra Lee in a promotion for its Ortega taco and salsa SKUs. A recipe for Crunchy Salsa Chicken Bake calls for four cups of Mexican blend shredded cheese.
  • Abbott Nutrition introduces a new baby bottle for its Similac infant formula, made with milk protein isolate.
