Protient Opens Tech Center

US dairy ingredients company Protient, Inc. announce the opening of its new state of the industry research and applications center in Eagan, Minnesota. The 8,300 square foot facility is conveniently located just minutes south of the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport and cost over $1 million to complete.

Included on site is an applications lab, chemical lab, sensory lab, processing room and sample storage and preparation area. The facility has ample office and conferencing space and will house Protient’s R&D and Quality departments.

Protient’s Vice President of Technologies, Dr. Ewan Ha said, “The new center is key to providing specific application support. It is a great resource and offers us more flexibility when developing functional ingredient solutions for our customers.”
