Worldwide Food Expo ‘05 is the year’s largest food and beverage processing and packaging event in the world, covering more than a million square feet of exhibits and featuring 1,200 of the world’s leading suppliers. More than 30,000 attendees from 100 countries will visit the show to learn about new technologies, trends and ideas.

Worldwide Food Expo ‘05 features two co-located events: the AMI International Meat, Poultry & Seafood Convention and Exposition and the Food, Dairy & Beverage Exposition. The expo is sponsored by the American Meat Institute (AMI), the International Association of Food Industry Suppliers (IAFIS) and the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA).

New to the show this year is an enhanced educational program, highlighted by six new Super Sessions featuring leading management, food research and business trend experts addressing these critical topics: Leadership in Turbulent Times; Food Trends: Consumer Eating Trends at Retail and Foodservice; Building Strong Brands: Lessons from the World’s Best Marketers; Trends in Activism; Business Ethics; and Developing and Maintaining a High Performance Workforce.

Also planned are in-depth technical programming for plant operations and engineering staff, for continuing education credits; exclusive technology application sessions and demonstrations; and specialized pavilions on the show floor, focusing on product development, material handling and distribution, and refrigeration and freezing.
