TILLAMOOK, Ore.—Tillamook County Creamery is searching for a new chief executive with Pres./CEO Jim McMullen having left the position after more than four years at the top. McMullen will work with Tillamook as a consultant, and Cliff Brady, vice president for operations and chief operating officer, will run the association until a permanent CEO is named.

“I deeply value the people I’ve been privileged to work with during my 14 years at Tillamook,” McMullen said in his announcement. “Together, we’ve been through a time of remarkable growth and transition, but I believe this is a good time for the company to identify a new chief executive. I am looking to the future and new opportunities.”

Chuck Bailey, chair of TCCA board, expressed the board’s gratitude for McMullen’s leadership, noting that during McMullen’s time as CEO, Tillamook sales have grown more than 35%.

“All of Tillamook’s previous presidents have been executives promoted from within the company,” Bailey noted. “While the board will consider Tillamook executives who may apply, the consideration of prospects from a national pool of potential executives is appropriate for a major national food brand such as Tillamook.”
