Kraft Heinz, based in Chicago and Pittsburgh, said it partnered with The Hershey Company, Hershey, Pa., to launch Hershey’s Milk Chocolate and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup dairy whipped toppings. The two products already began appearing in select retail locations; national distribution is slated for October. Both whipped topping flavors are made with 100% real cream from cows not treated with rBST growth hormone, Kraft Heinz said, and contain no high-fructose corn syrup, oil ingredients and artificial sweeteners or flavors. The Hershey’s Milk Chocolate variety features Hershey’s cocoa and has 10 calories, 1 gram of fat and less than 1 gram of sugar per 5-gram serving. The products will be available in 7 oz. cans in the refrigerated dairy aisle, retailing for $2.99–$3.99 a can.
