Director of Plant Operations, Idaho Milk Products
Dan Garcia has over 23 years of experience in the dairy processing industry. In his current role as Director of Plant Operations, he manages all facets of plant operations including monitoring the quality and throughput of the plant’s membrane operations. Prior to joining Idaho Milk Products, Dan was the Whey Operations Manager and Cheese Plant Production Manager at Agropur Jerome, spending a total of 16 years learning all aspects of cheese and whey manufacturing. Dan gained extensive knowledge of membrane operation, protein fractionation & recovery during this time. Dan also spent 7 years with Darigold in their Sunnyside and Portland locations working in both cheese & whey manufacturing as well as UHT milk processing.
