Real-world Experience with MBR Operations in Dairy, Food, and Beverage Process Wastewater Applications
The Probst Group and Symphonic Water Solutions in a joint presentation propose to share their collective experiences related to the successful application of membrane bioreactor technology in aerobic and anaerobic industrial wastewater treatment processes. Our team can provide unique understanding covering project implementation from conceptual design through construction, optimization, long-term operation and innovation across several membrane types and configurations gaining popularity in the Food and Beverage wastewater market space. Topics to be covered to include:
Comparison of membrane types and configurations including: - Flat Sheet, Hollow Fiber, and Tubular
Design considerations for each
MBR system
Design considerations for nutrient control to address more stringent effluent limits
Several brief case studies of full-scale, long-term installations covering different membrane types as well as aerobic and anaerobic systems
